Reagan Lambert
Reagan Lambert has been traveling from Texas to Philadelphia since 2016, when his original eye tumor was treated at Wills Eye Hospital.
He and his wife, Debbie, made around 20 trips in the first eight years of his Ocular Melanoma journey for check-ups and treatments with Dr. Shields at Wills and Dr. Sato at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. These trips were a necessity, even though they were expensive.
Reagan retired in 2020 at age 65, and his OM metastasized in March 2025. Since then, he and Debbie have traveled to Philadelphia monthly for five chemoembolization treatments, with #6 scheduled for early September.
“Eye on Grace has been a tremendous blessing to Debbie and me to cover our expenses these past five trips. We do not have to exhaust our savings and retirement funds. Eye on Grace has relieved my treatment financial burden more than we ever thought possible,” he says.
“When you're dealing with a diagnosis that has no cure, the last thing you want is to worry about is how you will handle all the expenses related to ongoing treatment. Thank you for relieving this burden and making it easier to cope.”
