Our Mission

The Eye on Grace Foundation exists to help alleviate the financial burden of treatment-related travel for those diagnosed with Ocular/Uveal Melanoma. The average travel cost for one treatment is $500-$1500. Multiple trips are usually required, which can be financially devastating.

Eye on Grace also makes an annual research donation to find a cure for this rare cancer. Past recipients include:

  • Ocular Melanoma Foundation through Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

  • A Cure in Sight

  • Melanoma Research Alliance

Keep your eye on grace

II Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that our struggles are met with an abundance of God's grace and strength. This can transform how we navigate difficulties, focusing on the sufficiency of grace rather than the obstacles.

We believe every person is made in the image of God and worthy of care. Our travel grants are available to all individuals affected by Ocular Melanoma—regardless of race, religion, gender, or orientation. We are committed to showing God's love by helping anyone in need, without exception.

Applying for a
Travel Grant

The Eye on Grace travel grants are available only for people diagnosed with Ocular/Uveal Melanoma who must travel more than 25 miles for treatment. Eligible individuals are required to provide proof of diagnosis and proof of treatment-related travel.

We award grants of up to $1,000 per person/per treatment to cover expenses for the patient and one caregiver. This includes lodging, travel (flight or train tickets/gas), Uber/Lyft, food, and parking.

A patient may receive a maximum of 10 grants per year with a maximum lifetime award of $25,000.
